Phase Shift Transformers

Advanced transformer solutions for complex grid and transport requirements.

Efacec provides specialized transformer solutions, including Phase-Shifting Transformers with Dissociated Phases configuration, enabling the transport and installation of very large units in locations where conventional three-phase transformers are not feasible.

The transformer is divided into three single- phase units and a common top cover, allowing each phase to be transported separately and assembled on site without compromising performance.

Features and benefits:

  • Dissociated phases configuration
  • Reduced transport dimensions and weight
  • Solution for challenging logistics and restricted routes
  • Faster replacement of individual phases
  • Limited impact in the event of an internal fault
  • Interchangeability between phases
  • Suitable for GSU, Auto-transformers and PST applications
  • Delivered from Portugal to the world since 2002
