Overview

Energy on the move lands at CIRED!

From June 16 to 19, Efacec will be in Geneva for CIRED 2025, the leading forum for electricity distribution.

We will be presenting our latest Switchgear and Automation solutions – including the new SF6-free secondary distribution switchgear equipment, evoFIX, and our advanced grid management and PAC solutions.

And don’t miss out on some of our experts who will be sharing their insights through papers on developments in energy distribution.

Portfolio on the move

Discover our Switchgear and Automation technology designed to power the future of energy distribution.

Features and benefits:

  • SF6-free technology
  • Modular switchgear (extensible on both sides)
  • Main circuit isolated and protected from ambient conditions
  • Compact and light design
  • Combination of air and solid insulation
  • Vacuum technology for switching
  • Easy installation and extension
  • Integrated voltage and current sensors (optional)
  • Automation controllers (optional)
HPC 400 high-power charger with a sleek yet bulky design, in white, with green led stripes on the sides and a cable management system on the top.

evoFIX

Dive into the future with our SF6-free secondary switchgear.

Our new SF6-free medium voltage secondary swtichgear solution is the perfect alternative to traditional RMUs.

It uses natural origin insulating gases, guaranteeing minimal carbon footprint and environmental inertness, coupled with a low maintenance level.

Features and benefits:

  • Up to 24 kV
  • Minimal carbon footprint
  • Insulation with dry-air
  • Compliant with EU F-gas regulation
  • Compact and modular
  • Three-position Shunt Vacuum Interrupter

ScateX#

Smart grid management solution for reliable network control.

ScateX# is the unified and modular Efacec SCADA solution. It scales from medium to large SCADA grids; advanced ADMS, OMS, and REMS applications for electrical transmission, distribution, or generation; railway and metro integrated management applications or supervision of technical infrastructures.

This solution is built upon a cybersecure infrastructure and includes a number of innovative features that provide quick and easy access to real-time information, improving situational awareness and readily providing enhanced decision support.

Black and white electronic device with a rectangular shape, labeled "UC 500E." Features multiple ports and "Efacec" logo on the front panel.

UC 500 ed. 3

A renewed Automation solution that performs as a station server and gateway.

The UC 500 is a modular and scalable software with multiple hardware options. It includes SCADA/HMI for user interface, operations management or data analysis.

Its main advantages lay on a user-friendy web-based HMI, data collection for integrated supervision and control of the diital substation, and full IEC 61850 station-bus compliance (suitable to integrate data from multiple IED vendors).

Features and benefits:

  • Higher processing capacity
  • Increased RAM memory, system, and data disk capacity
  • Redundant power supply for all options
  • Several communications interfaces
  • Hardware-based PRP interface
  • IEC 61850 client and server applications
  • Integrated application redundancy schemes
  • Integrated topology-based interlocking (rule-based solution)
  • Support for Windows 10 and 64-bit operating systems
