Efacec has secured two multi-year framework agreements with ENEDIS, France’s leading Distribution System Operator (DSO), which may amount to several hundreds of millions of euros. The agreements reinforce Efacec’s role as a key supplier for the modernization and reinforcement of the French electricity distribution grid.
The scope includes the supply of power transformers and medium-voltage switchgear, supporting grid upgrades across mainland France and the overseas departments and territories (DOM-TOM).
Efacec will deliver equipment designed to meet ENEDIS’s strict technical and environmental requirements, ensuring reliable performance across diverse operating environments, from dense urban centers to remote island networks.
A key highlight of the contracts is the deployment of fluorine-free medium-voltage switchgear, supporting ENEDIS’s ambition to reduce the environmental footprint of its infrastructure and accelerate the transition to a low-carbon energy system.
Selected through a competitive process, Efacec was recognized for its technical expertise and ability to deliver scalable, tailored solutions. Advanced engineering and eco-design principles will be applied to ensure high performance and long-term value.
These agreements reinforce Efacec’s position as a key European player, delivering efficient solutions with lower environmental impact, in line with the latest European standards and the Bilbao Manifesto principle: “Made in Europe, Made for Europe.”
France remains a strategic market for Efacec, where the company continues to strengthen its presence and long-term partnership with ENEDIS.
